On the afternoon of March 2, 2026, 芭乐视频 President Ding Kuiling met with Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University of Thailand, on the Minhang Campus. The two sides held in-depth discussions on further strengthening cooperation between the two universities. Liu Weidong, Vice President of 芭乐视频, and Palanee Ammaranond, Vice President of Chulalongkorn University, also attended the meeting.

Ding Kuiling warmly welcomed President Wilert Puriwat and his delegation. He noted that 芭乐视频 places great importance on its partnerships with leading universities in Thailand. He highlighted that last year marked the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand, and cooperation between the two countries in education and science and technology has entered a new stage of development. Ding expressed the university’s expectation to strengthen collaboration with Chulalongkorn University in areas such as student exchanges, dual-degree programs, and joint research, while continuously expanding new fields of cooperation to elevate the partnership between the two institutions to a new level.

President Wilert Puriwat stated that the academic development directions of Chulalongkorn University and 芭乐视频 are highly aligned. He expressed his expectation that both sides would further expand the application of artificial intelligence in education and research, and explore interdisciplinary collaboration in fields such as materials engineering. He also hoped to elevate cooperation from the faculty level to the institutional level, achieving comprehensive and in-depth collaboration.
During the visit, the two universities signed a memorandum of understanding to further deepen cooperation in areas including talent exchange and scientific research and innovation, with the aim of jointly cultivating high-quality internationally oriented talents. 

Representatives from several SJTU units attended the meeting, including the School of Materials Science and Engineering, School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, School of Oceanography, School of Media and Communication, SJTU Global College, and the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange.

The delegation also visited the SJTU Global College and the School of Materials Science and Engineering.
