NOVA ALERT SYSTEM
When an incident or emergency occurs, °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ sends notifications using NOVA Alert.
NOVA Alert delivers important emergency alerts, notifications and updates to any registered mobile device or email.
All University community members with a villanova.edu email address are automatically registered to receive NOVA Alert emails. It is highly recommended that all students, faculty and staff opt-in with a mobile number to help ensure alerts are effective. Students can also add additional devices to allow parents to receive NOVA Alerts.
COMMUNICATION CHANNELS
In addition to NOVA Alert - which can push out messages through text, phone and email - °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ also takes advantages of a variety of additional communication channels in emergency situations. These many include:
- °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ homepage (www.villanova.edu)
- Announcements through University Call Boxes on campus
- Digital signage
